Security Executives

In 1998, RIL experimented with a unique recruitment model for security executives. It started recruiting professionals who are physically fit and have a flair for security-related functions. Sportspersons were considered for direct recruitment into GCS after a one-year training period. In 2015, GCS decided to take a quantum leap by shaping a new paradigm for security. Driven by the mantra to be an “intelligence-led, technology-driven” organisation, GCS recruits bright, young candidates to work with the best systems and practices.

To meet its requirements GCS has set up a dedicated Training Academy that produces a batch of rigorously trained security executives every year. Ensuring that RIL and its people and assets remain secure and risk-free offers exciting challenges to young professionals. These young executives have a distinct profile, career path, physical fitness, regimental hierarchy and discipline. This model has globally proven itself in the field of industrial security. Seventeen batches of direct recruits have been trained so far.
