P. M. S. Prasad (DIN 00012144) has been a Whole-time Director, designated as Executive Director, of the Company since August 21, 2009. He has been with Reliance for about 42 years, holding various senior positions in the Fibres, Petrochemicals, Refining & Marketing (R&M), and Exploration & Production (E&P) businesses of Reliance. Over the years, he has helped build the group’s manufacturing assets and businesses. Currently, he leads the E&P and R&M businesses.
P. M. S. Prasad holds bachelor’s degrees in Science from Osmania University and Engineering from Anna University. He was awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the Indian petroleum sector. He has also been conferred the Energy Executive of the Year 2008 award by Petroleum Economist in recognition of his leadership.
He is a member of the Environmental, Social and Governance Committee and Risk Management Committee of Reliance Industries Limited.

He is a member of the Stakeholders’ Relationship, Corporate Social Responsibility, Audit, Nomination & Remuneration and Risk Management Committees of Network18 Media & Investments Limited and TV18 Broadcast Limited. He is the Chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and a member of Corporate Social Responsibility Committee of Reliance Commercial Dealers Limited. He is also a member of Corporate Social Responsibility Committee of Viacom 18 Media Private Limited. He also holds Chairmanship of the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee of Reliance BP Mobility Limited.
