Polyester Intermediates

Reliance is the world's 5th largest producer of Paraxylene (PX), 8th largest producer of Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA) and 8th largest producer of Mono Ethylene Glycol (MEG). In India, the company is the largest manufacturer of polyester intermediates with a market share of 100 per cent in some categories. Reliance is the only producer of PX while there are two PTA and four MEG producers in India.
