Ltd. is engaged in providing Design / Detailed Engineering Services as a Sub-contractor to Bechtel Corp., for the Jamnagar Export Refinery Project for Reliance at Jamnagar in Gujarat. Bechtel Corp, is main Contractor engaged by Reliance to provide the EPPMCC services for the Jamnagar Export Refinery Project. BecRel is located at Reliance Corporate Park in Navi Mumbai and has two lacs sq. ft. office space and is well connected thru Rail / Road services. BecRel boasts of excellent Infrastructure Facilities and has plans to further upgrade to the latest state of the art Software/Communication systems.

For its future Mega Projects, BecRel urgently requires experienced Design and Detailed Engineering professionals (HODs / Principal Engineers / Leads) for Mumbai Design Office in the following disciplines / functions:

Engineering Manager
Minimum graduate Engineer from a recognized University and having worked in multidiscipline Engineering Consultancy Organization carrying out Engineering work as DEC or EPC or EPCM in the field of Hydrocarbon / Petroleum Process Industry. Thorough knowledge of interdiscipline coordination, monitoring engineering work progress, identifying constraints & resolving them, planning of various resources such as manpower, softwares, specifications, standards etc., input to project control / planning, interface with project, work of statutory approvals, forming & dealing with site Engineering cell, resolving engineering issues with vendors and site construction etc. is essential. He should have worked at least on two projects of reasonable size having schedule of 24 to 30 months and total experience of min. 25 years after the graduation.

Process
Material and Energy balance calculations, Preparation and updation of PFDs, UFDs, P&IDs, LDTs, Equipment list, Cause & Effect diagrams, Complex loop descriptions, tie-ins, process data sheets for equipments, machinery and instruments, Hydraulic calculations, Relief system calculations, HAZOP studies and Vendor document review.

Plant Layout & Piping
Front end, conceptual and detail design of piping system to develop Plot & Site plan, PDS based piping layout and isometrics, stress analysis and supports, Material specification & MTO, review and approval of vendor drawings, RDBs, steam tracing systems etc. Candidates well versed in Piping Stress Analysis with relevant software tools, preferably in the areas of Oil, Gas & Hydrocarbons may also apply.

Instrumentation & Control
Selection and preparation of data sheets of field instruments like MOVs, Severe service control valves, Fiscal Metering Systems, Analyzers Systems for Liquid, Moisture, NIR, Gas Chromatograph etc, Automatic Tank gauging systems, Specialty flow meters & selection of DCS / ESD / F&G / Machine Monitoring Systems. Preparation of deliverables like I/O List, Cause & Effect, Complex and advanced loop control design and review of the vendor documents. Development of location drawings for Inst / F&G, Control Room drawings, etc. Hands on experience on using INTools V 7.0 and Field Bus Engineering design of DCS Systems are a pre requisite.

Electrical
Design of electrical system, power, lighting, earthing design, single line diagram, short circuit study, protection system, relay setting, equipment selection, procurement & inspection of electrical equipments. Knowledge of International and local codes and standards is desirable.

Civil

Structural
Analysis / design / detailing of RCC and Steel structures for wind, seismic and other loads as per Indian and international codes. The job responsibility includes thoroughly preparing / reviewing /checking the design documents including STAAD input files. Proficiency in STAAD Pro is necessary.

Underground
Development of plot plans, plant grading work details, drainage and underground service calculations, design and engineering of storm water drainage and underground services including oily water sewer system, preferably for Refinery and Petrochemical Plants. Knowledge of software like Inroads, Microdrainage etc. is desirable.

Mechanical

Static Equipment
Design of Pressure Vessels, Columns, Reactors, Heat Exchangers, Air Coolers, Spheres and Storage tanks and familiarity with all international codes / standards. Knowledge of relevant software like Compress, B-Jac is essential.

Rotary Equipment & Mechanical Packages
Design of Compressor, Pumps and Packages (Desalination unit, Nitrogen, Cooling towers, DM plant, Flare systems etc.) and familiarity with all international codes / standards.

Heat Exchanger Specialist
Thermal design of heat transfer equipment like Reformers, Fired heaters, Exchangers etc. and familiarity with all international codes / standards. Knowledge of tools like HTRI / HTFS is essential. Specialization in fired-heaters with process design background will be added advantage.

Material Handling
Preparation of equipment specification, layouts and system design of pneumatic / bulk conveyor systems, de-dusting systems in refinery / petrochemical applications. Troubleshooting experience for the above material handling systems will be an added advantage.

HVAC
Review studies, heat load calculations, sizing & selection of equipments, preparation of enquiry documents technical bid analysis, detail engineering, duct design, etc for industrial & commercial buildings. Knowledge of Air Handling units, Air ventilation units, chillers, chemical filters, and precision Air conditioners is necessary. Knowledge of software like Trace 700 is desirable.

Project Engineering
Engineers with experience of working in a multi discipline engineering consultancy organization, carrying out execution of projects on EPC or EPCM basis. Thorough knowledge of inter-discipline co-ordination, planning and monitoring of activities and progress reporting is a must. Candidate should be familiar with project control, monitoring and reporting techniques. Exposure to cost control and construction experience at project sites would be an added advantage.

Project Planning & Control
Developing summary and detailed schedules for process plants using Primavera (P3/P3e), Engineering Planning, Scheduling, Resource planning, Earned Value Measurement etc. Must be fully conversant with managing databases in MS Access / MS Excel. Post graduation in Project / Construction Management will be an added advantage.

Information Technology - Engineering Software Applications
Managing IT function of a large EPC organization spanning engineering execution at multiple locations. Should have background to determine, plan, implement state of the art software applications and hardware platforms focusing on integration, innovation and optimization for effective project execution.

Possess sound understanding and experience of various business processes, work flows cutting across functional disciplines involved in executing large projects in Refinery, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Pipelines and related business domains.

Exposure in SDLC methodologies, web based applications, RDBMS like Oracle, adopting mobile computing and handling of interfaces with systems like SAP etc. is desired.

Training
Engineering graduate with extensive experience in managing training initiatives of a large multi-discipline engineering company. Candidate should have managed the entire sequence of training activities from initial conceptualization to execution and feedback / follow-up. Preference will be given to candidates with exposure to managing HR activities.
