Job Requirements

18-20 years experience in commercial areas such asBudgeting, Cashflow, Project MIS, Project Accounting and Finance & Banking with:

a) Stress on preparation, review, monitoring, reporting and control of budgets, forecasts, cashflow, MIS and ability to work at a Senior Level setting up and Running the Project Budget Cell.

b) Experience in Project Evaluation, Profitability Models, Project Financing, sound Knowledge of commodity prices, indices, pricing practices in Heavy engineering / Metallurgical industries. Knowledge and working of process plants in industries such as Oil & Gas, Petroleum Refining, Petrochemicals, Polymers, Plastics, etc. will be an added advantage.

c) Ability to finalize and administer work breakdown structure for the project, devise project accounting cost codes, cost centres, fund centres, equipment identification tags, stock codes, part numbers, etc.

d) Experience in all aspects of banking, foreign exchange transactions / hedging, letters of credit administration etc.

e) Experience in specialized financing such as EXIM especially in back office functions like documentations etc.

Candidate Profile

i) Chartered Accountant or Engineer from a reputed School / University such as IIT/REC/BITS or preferably with PGDM/MBA

ii) Ability to go into details, 'Hands On' and close critical issues on solution minded basis.

iii) Sound leadership and motivation qualities.

iv)Experiences in large Indian Company or International Engineering or Construction projects and sound experiences in interactions with technology / international engineering firms.

Project Commercial Professionals
Vice President - Commercial

Job Requirements

18-20 years experience in Procurement & Contracting, Financial Structures for big contracts, Direct and Indirect taxes, Insurance, Logistics, and Customs Clearing and with:

a) Stress on services to Project Procurement Team in contract / deal negotiations, financial structures / settlements and tax optimisation.

b) Ability to work as a Senior Commercial Manager to lead all Reliance project procurement negotiations and other contract negotiations, and settle Financial & Commercial aspects such as price break downs,
taxes, all major terms and conditions of procurement including warranties and liabilities, payment terms, shipment terms and ensuring continues monitoring of vendors / contractors during project stage.

c) Aptitude to communicate effectively with and offer strategic inputs to the Top Management.

d) Experience in finalizing deals with international vendors / contractors.

e) Ability to put in place innovative least cost financing structures for high value project equipment supplies / contracts and manage finances of Joint Ventures, SPVs etc. will be an added advantage.

Candidate Profile

i) Chartered Accountant or Engineer from a reputed School / University such as IIT/REC/BITS or similar - preferably with PGDM/MBA.

ii) Multi-disciplinary skills covering Finance / Banking, Direct and Indirect Taxation, FEMA, Companies Act, IPR, Insurance etc.

iii) Knowledge / experience in international, US & UK banking practices and taxes are preferable.

iv) Ability to go into details, 'Hands On' and close procurement contracts and issues.

Project Cost Engineers

Job Requirements

5-10 years experience in project commercial areas - Capital Budgeting and cashflow, Project MIS, Management Support Functions like help in make or buy decisions - with:

a) Stress on preparation of reliable budget, forecast, cashflow, MIS.

b) Ability to bring in discipline across project departments for adhering to work breakdown structure, cost codes, cost centres, fund centres, and ability to monitor commitment against budgets with proper checks and balances.

c) Aptitude for ensuring project material reconciliation and accounting for consumption / erection costs and inventories, allocation of these costs for building Fixed Asset Register.

d) Very good knowledge of commodity prices, indices, pricing practices in Heavy engineering / Metallurgical industries. Knowledge and working of process plants in industries such as Oil & Gas, Petroleum Refining, Petrochemicals, Polymers, Plastics, etc. will be an added advantage.

Candidate Profile

i) Engineer from a reputed School / University such as IIT/REC/BITS or similar - preferably with MBA or AICWAI.

ii) Experiences in large Indian / International projects and interactions with technology / international engineering firms.

iii) Ability to go into details, 'Hands On' and close critical issues on solution minded basis.

Job Requirements

18 - 20 years experience in a corporate legal environment with stress on;

a) Drafting, vetting, negotiating and finalizing contracts for services, supplies, licensing etc;

b) Contract management and on-going contract risks assessment;

c) Project legal risk analysis and management.

Candidate Profile

i) LLB/LLM from a reputed University / School; or Masters in Law;

ii) Experience in international business laws and / or legal and extensive experience in contract negotiations;

iii) Good Communication and Interpersonal skills and 'Getting-Done" attitude;

iv) Ability to understand projects and businesses and advise business / project managers on strategies for closure of contracts.

Project Contracts Managers and Legal Professionals

Job Requirements

18-20 years experience - in an international engineering / contracting company / companies executing sizable projects - in contract management environment with stress on:

a) Contract / deal negotiations, settlements and contract risk management;

b) Contract management and monitoring of contractors' performances related to technical and non-technical aspects during project execution;

c) Familiarity with licensing and royalty issues connected with Oil, Gas and Refinery industry will be an added advantage;

d) Initiation / Management of claims, handling of counter-claims and resolution of issues / disputes.

Candidate Profile

i) Engineering Graduation from a reputed School / University. Additional LLB/LLM or MBA qualification is preferred though not a must.
