Portable infrared thermographic cameras being
used which can operate in wavelengths as long as
14,000 nano metres to detect minor hydrocarbon
gas leaks as low as 0.35g/hr.
Scale of Impact: Undetected gas leaks at more than 20 locations were identified in the plant and rectified.
