
ARUNDHATI BHATTACHARYA (DIN 02011213) was the first woman to chair the State Bank of India (SBI) from 2013 to 2017 in its 210 years.
She is a post graduate in English and an Associate Member of the Indian Institute of Bankers, with more than 40 years of rich and varied experience coupled with thorough insights of banking industry and its related technology. This has enabled her to leave her imprint on the Indian financial world, for which she has been globally acknowledged.
She is an internationally acclaimed banker who has won many International awards and recognitions, including 'World’s 100 Most Powerful Women' by Fortune and Forbes; Fortune’s 'World’s Greatest Leaders'; recognition for best satisfaction level of employee of SBI; Lifetime Achievement Award by Financial Express Group in 'Best Banker' Category; and Lifetime Achievement Award by Zee Marathi TV channel.
During her tenure as the Chairperson of SBI, she introduced sabbatical leave for women bank employees. She has been nominated by the Government to be a part of select committees, including the Lokpal Search Committee, Padma Awardees Selection Committee, SEBI's Mutual Fund Advisory Committee, and National Coal Index Committee.
Her interests include reading and travelling. She is also associated with initiatives and institutions for empowering persons with disabilities in order to integrate them better in society. Currently, she leads the India & South-Asia operations of Salesforce, a global leader in Customer Relationship Management software.
At Reliance Industries Limited, she is an Independent Director and a Member of the Stakeholders’ Relationship Committee, Environmental, Social and Governance Committee and Human Resources, Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

HITAL R. MESWANI (DIN 00001623) is a Management & Technology graduate from the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) in the USA. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, UPenn, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from the Wharton Business School. He joined Reliance in 1990 and is the son of Rasiklal Meswani, one of the Founder Directors of the Company.
He is on the Board of the Company as Whole-time Director, designated as Executive Director, since August 4, 1995. His overall responsibility spans the Petroleum Refining and Marketing Business, Petrochemicals Manufacturing, and several corporate functions of the company, including Information Technology and Research & Technology. He has been involved with almost all mega initiatives of the group through its growth journey. He was instrumental in the execution of the world-class petrochemicals complex at Hazira and the mammoth Reliance Jamnagar Refinery complex, the largest in the world at any single location. He also led a company-wide business transformation initiative, which has resulted in the development of the constitution of RIL – the Reliance Management System.
He has been awarded an Honorary Fellowship by the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) – the international professional body for chemical, biochemical and process engineers in recognition of his contribution to the process industries. He is a recipient of the prestigious ‘The 2011 D. Robert Yarnall Award’ from The Engineering Alumni Society of UPenn. He was conferred the Honorary CEPM-PMA Fellowship Award for Project Management Excellence. He is also a Member of the Board of Management – Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research, Mumbai.
He is a member of the Finance Committee, the Stakeholders’ Relationship Committee, and the Risk Management Committee and is Chairman of the Environmental, Social and Governance Committee of the Company.
He is a Director of Reliance Commercial Dealers Limited, The Indian Film Combine Private Limited and Reliance BP Mobility Limited. He is the Chairman of the Audit and Corporate and Social Responsibility Committees and a member of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee of The Indian Film Combine Private Limited. He is also a member of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee of Reliance BP Mobility Limited.

Anant M. Ambani (DIN: 07945702) is an Indian business leader and serves as a Director on the Boards of Jio Platforms Limited since March 2020, Reliance Retail Ventures Limited since May 2022 and Reliance New Energy Limited since June 2021. He also serves on the Board of Reliance Foundation since September 2022.
Anant M. Ambani is involved in corporate functions of the company, including Human Resources Management and Capital Projects Execution.
Anant M. Ambani is driving the expansion of energy and materials businesses of Reliance Industries and its global operations in renewable and green energy. Akash M. Ambani (DIN: 06984194) is an Indian business leader serving as the Chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) since June 2022. He was earlier serving as non-Executive Director on RJIL board since October 2014. He also serves on the Board of Jio Platforms Limited, Reliance Industries’ digital services business. At Jio, he spearheads the creation of products and services that leverage new-age technologies like 5G, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and the Internet of Things to bring about a generational shift in Commerce, Education, and Healthcare across India. Under his leadership, Jio crossed the 100 million subscriber mark in less than six months of its launch in 2016, and today serves over 450 million customers.
Akash M. Ambani is part of the RJIL Executive Committee, the governing and operating council. He is also a member of the Product Leadership Group and is closely involved in the development of Products and all digital services applications. Akash M. Ambani has led the expansion of India’s digital ecosystem of India through launch of affordable devices such as the Jiophone, which enabled more than 100 million Indians to experience the power of the Internet as well as launch of new services and applications which deepen India’s digital ecosystem across information, entertainment, education and convenience of use. Along with positive social impact, Jio has won national and international recognition for the climate mitigation initiatives aimed at reducing its carbon footprint and transitioning it’s energy requirements towards renewable sources.
In addition to the digital services business, Akash M. Ambani has been part of the leadership team of Reliance Industries’ retail businesses serving on the Board of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited as a Director since October 2014. Akash M. Ambani is keenly involved in various employee engagement initiatives. He is an avid sportsperson and has played a key role in the management of Mumbai Indians, contributing immensely in their winning the IPL 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020 as well as CLT20 2011 and CLT20 2013 Championships.

Isha M. Ambani (DIN: 06984175) is part of the executive leadership teams at Reliance Retail, Reliance Jio, Reliance Foundation, Reliance Foundation Institution of Education and Research, and Dhirubhai Ambani International School. She is on the Advisory Board of the Yale Schwarzman Center, and on the Board of Trustees of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Asian Art, the Dia Art Foundation, LACMA, the International Volleyball Federation.
Isha M. Ambani played a pivotal role in conceptualizing and launching Reliance’s digital services business, Jio, in India in 2016. A game-changer in the Indian telecom landscape, with over 425 million subscribers, Jio is currently India’s no. 1 digital service provider and amongst the largest in the world.
Isha M. Ambani spearheads Reliance Retail, which is India’s largest retailer by revenue, profit, reach, and scale with presence in grocery, consumer electronics and fashion retail. She is driving the expansion of Reliance Retail into new categories, geographies and formats and is focused on enhancing the overall customer experience. She has led the expansion of the digital footprint for Reliance Retail and launched new formats such as the eCommerce business Ajio, and the online beauty platform Tira. She has been instrumental in expansion of Reliance Retail’s own brand portfolio including acquisition of some exciting Indian brands and launch of the Independence brand. Isha M. Ambani is actively involved in overseeing the vision and impact of Reliance Foundation and is closely involved with the foundation’s work with children and women. She also heads the Diversity and Inclusion programme at Reliance Industries Limited, championing women’s rise in the workplace. An art enthusiast, she leads all the art & culture initiatives & collaborations undertaken by Reliance Foundation in India and internationally. She is passionate about education and provides hands-on leadership and direction to all education initiatives of Reliance, especially Dhirubhai Ambani International School (DAIS), Reliance Foundation Schools, and Jio Institute.
